Pacifica Radio: Sprouts Carol of the Bells at the Damaged Thermal Power Plant

Over the holidays, Ukrainian DTEK Energy Company published a stunningly defiant and beautiful video that contrasts the destruction of a bombed power plant with the resilience of Ukraine's infrastructure and the dedication of energy workers. The video shows known classical singers and musicians performing in a damaged turbine hall of a thermal power plant after a Russian attack. They perform before an audience of plant workers, performing "Shchedryk" written by Ukraian composer Mykola Leontovych, based on an old Ukrainian folk song. The song later became known world-wide as Carol of the Bells.

The video is called Christmas Carol of the Bells Performed at Destroyed DTEK Thermal Power Plant.
